They say that the eyes are the gateway to our soul. The eyes are a key facial feature and are the first thing that we look at when we meet people. Unfortunately it is often the eyes that first show the signs of ageing.
As we age and lose soft tissue volume and the skin becomes thinner, the junction between the cheek and the under-eye becomes more hollow and darker resulting in a tear trough, which makes us look tired. In addition the eye socket hollows, which causes the eyebag under the eye to protrude. Around the eye the crow’s feet lines become more visible and the brow starts to drop, resulting in a heavy appearance below the lateral brow.
One option to treat the excessive, loose skin below the brow and the eye bags is a surgical procedure called a blepharoplasty. However a surgical procedure is not the choice for everyone due to the associated risks.
At Meon Face aesthetic clinic we are able to rejuvenate the eyes by using several non-surgical techniques, including ‘Botox’ to smooth the crow’s feet lines, tear trough fillers to smooth the area below the eyes and to lift the lateral brow and a non-surgical blepharoplasty using our Plasmage® device.

Tear trough treatment is effective for those who have hollowing under the eyes and involves the injection of a small amount of a very soft dermal filler to smooth and lift the deformity, often using an entry point away from the delicate skin of the tear trough itself to reduce inflammation and after-effects.
It is not uncommon for people to be conscious of heaviness below the brow, especially as we age. We are able to give a degree of lift to the lateral brow using a dermal filler injected into temporal hollow and in the lateral brow to elevate and support the tissues, creating more visible lateral brow display.

Plasmage is the very latest device for aesthetic treatments, which uses plasma energy technology to tighten the excessive loose skin of hooded eyelids and eyebags.
There will be some redness and swelling which lasts for 2-4 days, then mild scabbing which lasts for 7-14 days after treatment.
Results can be immediately visible after treatment, but will be most noticeable 8 weeks post treatment. The optimum result occurs 5-6 months after treatment and will last for approximately 3-5 years.
*Results may vary and are different for each individual. As such, Meon Face cannot guarantee specific results.
